My girlfriend and I spent a fantastic morning with Dave of Zion shooting experience. It was an exhilarating, extremely friendly and safe outing. Dave was an excellent host and teacher and easily tailored the session to what we were interested in. Both of us had the opportunity to fire a multitude a different size handguns and rifles, each subtly different from the last as well as the opportunity to fire long range, out to ~300m at steel targets. This was absolutely the highlight for me and not something re-creatable in an indoor range, but only in the open desert expanse! Coupled with trying out flashbangs (awesome) and it was a fantastic morning and great value, I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Zion area!

My fiancé and I visited the Zion shooting experience while on holiday in Zion national park (visiting from the UK) and had a fantastic time. Neither of us had ever used guns of any means before and were treated to a wide variety of different pistols and rifles (firing 5 different types of rifle all with optics and differences) , all quite different. Backed up with excellent and safe instruction from Dave we shot at targets in an outside range and then also had the opportunity to fire out to 300m on a much larger range at steel targets (the highlight for myself, hits are incredibly satisfying, and the sound made very audible). An absolutely fantastic morning all in all, I would thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling in the area!! (flashbang throwing was also a treat :))

Visited this shooting facility when on family vacation to Zion NP. Equipment was well maintained and targets all set out before our arrival. Dave the owner, was knowledgeable about the guns and patient, and the tuition he provided to our group, some with little to no shooting experience, was what made this so different from the other ranges I have shot at. Rather than just give the pistol or riffle, he talked you through the gun, showed you the safety features, explaining when One in the chamber. He passed on shooting skills that enabled all to hit at least one bulls eye. Thanks again Dave, and be sure to ask for the Kaboom experience.

Great Bachelor Party! We stopped on our way from Vegas to Zion to shoot some guns for a bachelor party. Dave was super accommodating and even set up games for us to compete in. Overall, it was tons of fun and we highly recommend.

Amazing first time shooting experience. We visited Dave‘s shooting experience in April 2018. My two male friends were quite excited to shoot for the first time, whereas I was very unsure of holding a gun and rifle, but Dave explained everything and made me feel save to try. Especially the rifle shooting was very fun for me! One of my friends can only use his left arm (disability) and Dave showed him how to shoot a pistol with one hand and also supported him during the rifle shooting. My friends found the adrenalin kick they were looking for and I made a fun new experience. All of us can really recommend Dave and his shooting experience. Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands: Amazing kick!!! We both never held a gun ever, but this was one amazing adrenaline kick. Dave explained very well what to do and what not, we never felt unsafe. We had blast, loved it!!! Thanks Dave

Father and son bonding! Spent the day shooting with my 15 year old son. Dave was able to fix a couple bad habits We had developed. Six hours of shooting and eight hundred rounds. We had a great time and appreciate all the help. Looking forward to our next trip in the New Year. Thanks Dave for being patient with us and all the help with my scopes.

My fiancé and I spent a few hours with Dave at the Zion Shooting Experience. I was a little nervous, having not really been exposed to guns before, but my nerves were completely unfounded. Dave was superb. He really knew his stuff, was very focused on safety and responsible gun use and ownership, and it was a real pleasure to learn the basics with him, as well as enjoy shooting pistols, rifles, and even throwing a couple of flash bang grenades! I couldn't recommend it enough. The location is fantastic - an outside range in the desert, Dave is an excellent teacher, and it was very reasonably priced for the experience we both had. Definitely find time to make it out here if you're in the area!

Great experience! Me and 6 of my international friends were lucky enough to take part in this great experience with Dave. Who has been nothing but amazing. We were really well greated and received by Dave as soon as we entered the property. I was quite nervous about shooting guns, I didn’t really want to do it but with Dave’s help it all went well! His sense of humour and friendliness will put you at ease from the start 🙂 He is a real passionate and a professional. Shooting the rifle was a lot of fun. Amazing day! As my first shooting experience, I couldn't wish for anything better! We arrived to the range in the middle of our road trip without a previous appointment and Dave was very helpful from the beginning. He planned an amazing experience for all of us (a group of 7) in no time. We all shot a gun and a rifle and Dave was super dedicated to each one of us, making us feel at ease and understanding each person's needs. I honestly didn't know what to expect, but the experience was way beyond my expectations. It was really fun and safe, and the location and setup was beautiful and authentic. I honestly would repeat a million times!

This is a great experience to learn about gun safety and shoot some cool guns. Our family was visiting Zion and decided to take a day off from hiking. We met with Dave who is both knowledgeable and experienced with operating guns. After going over gun safety and the do’s/don’ts, we shot hand guns and rifles. The AR-15s with all of the options were great! The best part was Dave taking the time to make sure all 3 teenagers and wife were comfortable. Dave is the nicest guy and has a true passion for educating and teaching gun safety. All of us had a great time and will definitely be back!

Thanks to Dave, I had an amazing time at the range. I’m from UK, so we’re quite restricted to say the least here. I’ve gone for the 2 hours experience, so shot with a pretty good range of guns. Dave was really good at giving tips, even made me try his personal gun too (btw I really enjoyed it). Overall experience was really good, my fiancee also shot and Dave was more than professional to make someone inexperienced confident. Get some extra ammo like I did, and be prepared to have an awesome time. And to finish, love the last bit of shooting, when we shot at some explosive. Thanks again for the experience.
